The following page is for educators looking to support youth in their mission to become heroes.
We are looking for educators to share our platform with their students. The platform is free to students, teachers, and schools.
Our platform is designed so that an entire school can participate or a single classroom.
Educators do not need to become involved in the platform if their schedules do not permit it.
The game lasts 6 weeks and is played once a year. We are supplying educators with 2 options for the game. One game will be 15 minutes per week (no class exercises) and the other will be 30 minutes per week (with classroom exercises).
Classroom exercises will be dependent on the teacher and the subject they are teaching. Educators will be able to select from various options. These are human rights, environment, security, economics, and information.
Our platform is designed to be used on basic equipment that all schools have. The game can be adapted to the needs of each school. Schools will be able to add additional features to the game if they have the resources to facilitate them.
HOW DO I APPLY?
+ We know that our platform is just one step in a teen’s heroic journey. Our platform is designed to help educators support their students in a fun and engaging way.
+ Educators will share our platform with specific classes or entire schools.
+ Our platform is specifically targeting underprivileged students. However, our platform is open to students of all socioeconomic backgrounds.

HOW TEENS BECOME HEROES & SAVE THE WORLD:
How are you different from the many youth based programs available?
We understand that there are many programs out there. What differentiates us is 1) it’s entirely free to both students and schools. 2) we have no limit on size – we can serve as little as 10,000 students or as many as 10 million. Because of how our program is designed we aren’t stuck with a per student cost. In fact, it’s the opposite – the more students that use our platform the more money we raise to support our partnering organizations. 3) It’s not just a one-day event. Many programs inspire youth but they don’t provide them with the support needed to create real change
What types of students are you targeting?
+ We are focusing on students that need the most support. Many programs focus on students that are outgoing and that are already overcoming their challenges. We have specifically decided to focus on empowering youth that are at the greatest risk.
Is this a religious project?
We have respect for all beliefs. Our project is an inclusive initiative that does not assert any particular doctrine or faith. Since we are trying to reach the widest audience possible, we are asking our mentors to focus on universal ideas such as dignity and empowerment and not the particulars of their belief.
How does the quiz work?
It is a short interactive quiz that can be done in under 10 minutes. The questions are not academic but are instead interest driven. The purpose of the quiz is to help teens find their strengths and the issues they care about.
What is in the prize pack?
The details of the prize pack are not finalized. However, it will contain popular youth-focused items that are tailored to each division.
Do all students receive the prize pack or only the winners?
This is a very important aspect of our platform. We don’t want to create a sense of competition or failure. We want every young person in our program to be proud of their achievements. This is why we have designed our platform in a way that every student will be rewarded for their efforts. Students, however, will be required to finish the game in order receive the prize pack.
